Amazing experience! We have left our puppy for doggie day care a few times already and he loves it! Michelle has always been flexible and accommodating to our schedule. We get constant updates through photos, videos and messages. It's amazing being able to feel comfortable leaving your pet with someone who is attentive, helpful and caring!
Barktails is hands down the best Petsitter we have ever had. We have a very special rescue 3-pack that includes a senior diabetic that is insulin dependent and on a very strict schedule. Michelle was able to allow our family to get away and not worry about a thing. I received photos, updates and communication when appropriate for medically sensitive surprises.
If I could give this business 10 stars I would. Michelle was so accommodating with our ever-changing needs and kept us updated on our fur baby the whole time. This was the first time we had ever left our dog with anyone that wasn't family and we were put at such ease. She even gave us a little wedding gift!
Michelle with Barktails is absolutely amazing and a true animal lover! From the very first experience with Michelle, I felt so happy and comfortable and it was clear that my dog Bailey also loved her. The home environment is such a better fit for my dog. Michelle sends me pictures, videos, and updates throughout the day. I will never use anyone else!
Barktails is a Godsend! I have two senior pups that have mobility and medical needs. Michelle and her team were completely open to caring for them and have eased the stress of traveling. They even made up a Senior Center for the older dogs to have some more R&R. I appreciate updates and knowing the dogs are loved and well cared for.

Barktails was amazing while I was away for a week on work travel. Michelle took great care of my injured dog—handled her medication, gave her a bath, and even got her a new pink collar. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality, caring dog-watching services!
Our Bernedoodles stayed for 11 nights with Michelle and Joe! They were kind and accommodating enough to extend our stay when our travel plans changed at the last minute. We received photos and updates multiple times a day. They listened to all our helicopter parent concerns and made us feel so comfortable and at ease while we were away.
It took me a few days to write this review simply because I didn't know where to start. There are so many wonderful things about Barktails. What is harder to put into words is the true love and passion Michelle has for dogs. My dog has the best time and comes home happy, healthy, and wagging. Don't even look anywhere else. This is the place!
Great price. The updates I receive throughout the day mean everything. What sets this place apart is the home environment and the genuine love they pour into the dogs. It feels like my pups are visiting family. My dogs come home happy, tired, and clearly loved. It's truly a second home for them.
